Medical staff interacts with a wide range of people and their families.

These interactions happen in the patients' most critical times and sometimes deals with families during their emotional edge.

 

Doctors, sergeants and medical staff are exposed to violence from patients or the patients' families who think their loved ones are not being treated well enough.

 

Attacks occur towards the medical staff, disrupt the medical treatment and in many cases damages high valued equipment.

Sharp objects that are being found in the medical environment increases the threats and necessitate basic knowledge and tools of self-defense.
